‘I worked as a midwife for 37 years in Harlow and The Rosie (both the old hospital on Mill Road and the current hospital on the Addenbrookes site). I loved the job and thoroughly enjoyed looking after women and their families at such an important time of their lives. I still very much miss the heart of the job but I certainly don’t miss the long shifts!
Outside of work, I am kept very busy by my two wonderful grandsons who bring an incredible amount of joy into my life.
I now very much enjoy working at Beechwood and being part of such a wonderful team.
